A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 – 1:00 p.m., at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US 117, Dudley, NC. 

Officiant/Eulogist: Dr. Michael Johnson.

Mr. Cameron Ray Cobb, son of Fletcher Ray & Robin Lauranese Coley–Cobb of Goldsboro, NC, was born on January 9, 1990 at Washington Hospital Center, in Washington, DC. He departed this life on Friday, April 17, 2020 with his family by his side. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Nathaniel and Inez B. Coley and paternal grandparents, William A. and Lucy Cobb.


Cameron received his education in the District of Columbia Public School System and graduated from Anacostia High School in 2008. He received his Bachelor’s Degree at the University of the District of Columbia in 2016 in Business Administration, and furthered his education in 2018 by attaining his Master’s Degree in Cyber Security at the University of Maryland, University College.


Cameron was known for bringing people together and making people laugh. He was an intellectual, loving, soft-spoken, spiritual, genuine individual. He had a passion for all types of music including (Gospel, Old School R&B, and his favorite artist being Tupac).  He loved exercising and sports as well. Cam enjoyed life, cherished his family and friends, and was passionate about his future.


Cameron never neglected to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a God-Fearing man who always put God and family first and spoke life into those around him. Cameron was a devoted father and partner to his fiancé Shanice Scott-Cobb and daughter Aidan Robin-Elizabeth Cobb.


Cameron’s loving memory will be cherished by his parents, Fletcher and Robin Cobb; his fiancé, Shanice Scott; his daughter, Aidan Robin-Elizabeth Cobb; one sister, Valencia (Cameron) Armbrester of Fayetteville, NC; two brothers, Warren Fletcher Cobb & Kamodi Larron Cobb of Goldsboro, NC; and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
