Mrs. Sheila Mae Hoffman Reece, 69, of Kinston, NC, was peacefully called to heaven on Thursday, April 28, 2022 surrounded by her loving family at her home, where Jesus took her to her heavenly home.
A celebration of life visitation and funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Southwest PFWB Church, 1745 NC-11, Kinston, NC 28504. The graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Pinelawn Memorial Park, 4488 W Vernon Ave, Kinston, NC 28504.
Sheila was preceded in death by her mother, Lilly Mae Marshburn; father, Samuel Bruce Hoffman; son, T.J. Reece; and great-grandchild, Emory Rose.
Sheila was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother with a soft spoken voice, sweet spirit, and a contagious smile. She had a huge, loving heart and would go above and beyond to help everyone she could. She will be truly missed.
Sheila leaves to cherish her precious memories; her husband, Timmy Reece; son, Sammy Sanderson and wife Candie - grandchildren, Dail & Dean; daughter, Julie Sanderson and significant other, Michael Gregson; grandchildren, Matt, Ryan, and Rebecca; son, Chris Sanderson and wife Kim - grandchildren, Austin & Anna Beth; son, Jamie Sanderson - grandchildren, Taylor, Kevin, Layla, and Dasia; son, Adam Reece - grandchildren, Devin, Karah, Alyssa, and JoJo; son, Josh Reece and wife Desny - grandchildren, Gracin, Ava, Mahaylin, and Paisley - grandchildren, Cameron, Brandy, and Samantha; children of the late T.J. Reece; five great-grandchildren; and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Please keep the Reece family in your prayers as they prepare for the celebration of life service of their beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend - Mrs. Reece. May God comfort the family with His Love and Peace during this time. "Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal".
