Edward Thigpen Obituary

Mr. Edward Earl "Eddie" Thigpen, 56, of Kinston, NC, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC, after three years and three month battle with stage IV pancreatic cancer.

Edward was a retired truck driver and devoted husband and father. Edward was just traveling through this world, his true home was always in heaven.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Cross of Christ Community Church in Beulaville, NC, with visitation immediately following in the COC Fellowship Hall.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to COC Church would be appreciated.
