Mother Gloria Taylor Burden

Mother Gloria Taylor Burden entered into this world on January 19, 1939 to the late Paul and Martha Holloway Taylor. On August 8, 2023 at 11:39 p.m., she answered the master’s call and put down the cares of this world to start her journey into her eternal rest.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories; brother, Roland A. Taylor; daughter, Shelbra B. Jackson; two sons,  Jerald (Nicole) Council Sr. and William L. (Gloria) Burden Jr.; 8 grandchildren, Craig (Stormi) Bridges , Jerald Council Jr., ShaLonda (JaJuan) Taylor Sr., Kori Jackson, Nathaniel Council, Nicholos Council, Keanna Jackson, and Taylor Jackson; 5 great grandchildren, Melanie Bridges, Jordan Bridges, Sebastian Jackson, Yasir James, JaJuan Taylor Jr., and MaKenzi Taylor; 2 nephews, Dwayne (Andrea) Everett and Bradley (Lisa) Flowers; niece, Paulette Lofton; sister-in-laws, Shirley (Donald) Blue and Doris (The late Eugene) Bell; a special granddaughter, Cassandra (Youneat) James; and a host of cousins, church family, and friends.
