Mrs. Mollie Delores (Montague) Watson

Mollie Delores (Montague) Watson was born May 15, 1927, to Louis and Katie (Herndon) Montague. She quietly and peacefully transitioned home on Monday, August 7, 2023, at the SECU Hospice House of Johnston Health in Smithfield, North Carolina.

Mollie was educated in the Wake County school system. She studied nursing and became a Registered Nurse. She worked at Bellevue Psychiatric Hospital in New York City, New York, DC General Hospital in Washington, District of Columbia, and was one of the Head Nurses in the emergency room at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Smithfield, North Carolina.

Mollie leaves to cherish her precious memories; two daughters, Narvia (Harold) Priest of Tennessee and Charisse Johnson of Virginia; three loving grandchildren, Tamara Moore of Tennessee, Jasmine Johnson (Jamal Elliott) of Virginia, and Gregory Johnson, Jr. of North Carolina; great grandchildren, Kalon and Davian Moore and Jamison and Amiah Elliott; great-great granddaughter, Samia Crockett; two nieces; a devoted son-in-law; and a host of loving relatives and friends.

Please keep the family in your prayers as they prepare for the celebration of life memorial service of their beloved Mrs. Watson.
